A FAREWELL TO ON DEMAND

 

Thank you for using
Freeview On Demand.

It’s been a good run, but our On Demand service is set to end on 12 December 2022. 

You won't be able to watch shows on demand through Freeview after December 12th, but you can still watch them any time you want, by going to ThreeNow, Māori+ and RNZ.

EVERYTHING ELSE IS STILL HERE.

You don't need to do anything to keep watching Live TV and accessing other Freeview features, as they are distinct from On Demand.

The same channels, diverse range of shows and the 8-day TV Guide will still be available on Freeview.

If you have a Freeview Recorder, you'll still be able to record any broadcast to watch at your leisure.

And yes, everything on Freeview remains free of charge.

WHERE CAN I GET ON DEMAND AFTER 12 DEC?

Our On Demand service simply collated shows from ThreeNow, Māori+ and RNZ.

After the service ends, you can still watch those shows on demand
with the ThreeNow app, the Māori+ app, and on the RNZ website.*

You can watch shows from Three, Bravo, HGTV, eden and Rush on demand on ThreeNow. See where the ThreeNow app is available here.

Watch shows from Whakaata Māori on demand on Māori+. See where you can get the Māori+ app here.

To enjoy RNZ content on demand, go to www.rnz.co.nz/series. You’ll find a great range of podcasts there too!

And of course, if you'd like to watch TVNZ shows on demand, please head to tvnz.co.nz or use the TVNZ+ app.
